Bourbon & Bones - A Night With The Ladies

In the TV land we would be able to meet with our girls every other night and talk about life and how things were working out. In the real world I get to mingle with a few ladies once a month (if that). Two lady friends and I got together the last Friday night in January to celebrate my wedding, our goals and just life. We chose a cute and elegant place in Scottsdale called Bourbon & Bones.

When I walked in I felt like I was in an upscale Scottsdale restaurant. I figured as much so I dressed for the occasion. We got our booth and jumped into conversation because we had so much to catch up on. Our server was great and didn't make us feel rushed. So lets get to the bones of the story:

Price: We each paid for our own meals so I am not sure about the entire total, but my total was $70.23. I had a tekiwi drink ($18), Chicken meal ($27), paid for a side Mac N Cheese ($10), and a warm apple crumble ($10). For the food the price was decent. I think where most places like this get you are the drinks and your main meal. If you were going with a group and paying for everyone be prepared to spend at least $500. I can't say that is a great deal, but the food is worth the experience at least once.

Presentation: The presentation was excellent. One of the best I've seen in months. They craft the food to look appealing. You want to take photos of it. If you are looking for food art this is the place.

Quality: I was surprised that the food had such flavor and moisture. I had the chicken and it was very soft, well cooked, seasoned and crisp of the outside, although it was baked. I have to say when my friend ordered the brussel sprouts I didn't think I would like them, but they are by far the best I've ever had.

Quantity: The main meal is yours and the sides are to share so the portions were shareable. The main meal actually came with potatoes and most places don't do that so I was really surprised to have an extra side on my own place. In this instance you could share your main meal and sides if you wanted to.

Overall, this place is upbeat, classy, elegant and expensive. It makes you feel like money. If you want a night out with your significant other or your girls and want to create a memorable moment this would be the place to start. If you have been to Bourbon & Bones tell us about your experience and food choices. Another fabulous meal to share with you wonderful people. Happy Eating.

My drink was the green one (Tekiwi), my friends had the salmon, crab mashed potatoes & brussel sprouts.
