A place to reconnect and reinvigorate your senses in a place of incredible natural beauty, with personalized wellness experiences and award-winning hospitality is what is written on their website homepage. Cirvana is located in Carefree, Arizona. Surrounded by breath-taking mountain views and open air. A wellness resort like no other, Cirvana delivers a whole new outlook on the words resort and retreat.

One of the first things you recognize when you walk into the lobby is the decor. The room is filled with light cream and beige colors. The fireplace is glowing and the ambience is calming and relaxing. You immediately know you’re in a place of healing.
This is an adult only resort. The quietness of the place allows you to find your inner self. With quiet places designated throughout the property guest are allowed to sit and meditate hearing slow calming music, trickling water sounds or nature in full effect.
There are multiple wellness classes to choose from daily ranging from irest meditation to aerial yoga. They have indoor classes as well as outdoor ones. You get two free classes daily with any stay. You can choose to stay on the resort and explore your inner thoughts and mind control, or hike near by mountains and creeks. Classes range from 7am to 8pm.

One thing that Cirvana offers many other wellness resorts don’t is the morning and evening healing and gratitude circles. At 8am daily is the daily set - you and other guests sit in the rose garden and set what your daily intentions will be for yourself. This 15 minute activity helps keep focus on your journey while there. Every evening at 5pm is the daily reset gratitude circle. You and a group of guests sit in the rose garden and take a few moments to appreciate being there and other things you’re grateful for.
The spa is open daily from 9am to 7pm. This is a five star spa. Upon entry you are guided into a locker room to put your belongings and put on a robe. After changing into your treatment attire you are guided upstairs to a wellness waiting room. This room has beautiful mountain views overlooking the private spa pool all guest can swim in privately. When your specialist comes to get you, you’re guided to a private room that screams pure bliss. After your treatment you are guided back to the wellness room to relax and refresh. You decide when you want to go back to reality and put your clothes back on.

The spa offers free to all spa guest a 25 minute Aqua Therapy Circuit. This private room has a European-designed Knepp hot/cold wading pool. Allowing water to be apart of your healing process. By walking thought the hot and cold water you’re shocking your body into therapeutic healing. The contrast is said to increase circulation and promote relaxation. Afterwards, you are said to feel energetic and rejuvenated.
The rooms are typical hotel room type spaces. There was nothing special about these spaces, except each room gave a free stainless steel water bottle for guest. The quality of the water bottle was surprising. This isn’t the simple, cheap bottle. They put thought, effort and money into these guests bottles. With that being said the pricing of the resort doesn’t fit most median household budgets. For two nights the resort cost was $840, which isn’t bad considering it included a $75 food voucher, two free classes a day and the room.

There are two on site restaurants. One, The Seed, is a quick food spot that serves plat based salads and snacks. They also have Terras fine dining restaurant. They is a bar, but they also provide heathy dining options. One specialty is the Faroe Island Salmon. This comes with asparagus and green beans over fennel-meyer lemon sauce. While many may like these options there are plenty of local restaurants near by that are more affordable.
The pool area is a hang out spot at most hotels, however, this pool area is meant for meditation, exercise and relaxation. Many come in their bath robes sitting near the pool in quiet. You won’t hear loud music roaring from this area. The pool is used for eclectic vibes and regenerating your senses. The entire resort is about balancing mental, physical and emotion health.

One of the reasons this retreat is getting a lot of buzz is because of the Chopra Health Retreat. They have partnered with Dr. Deepak Chopra, a world-renowned health icon, to provide a 5 night total mind, body, soul retreat. Here you will get 1-on-1 heath consultations and lifestyle recommendations. The retreat cost between $5180 - $7400 depending on the season and room choice. Included are twice daily meditation and yoga classes, 4 spa treatments, 7-day herbal detox kit, daily Chopra health educational classes and more.
This resort focuses on life balance, exploring your inner feelings, working with your body and much more. This is the total wellness experience. The staff is graceful, respectful and most importantly inspiring. If not all of them, many love their jobs and the specific activities they cover. Their gratitude over flows onto the guest and creates a surreal over all experience.
Cirvana is a place to recapture your life and start fresh or just remind yourself of all the great things you are. Personal growth is a journey that many find hard to take. If you are looking for a place to find yourself, figure things out or just relax - this is the place. Stay safe, stay focused and stay traveling. Happy Travels.
