Coachella has finally returned after two years of delays and cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Coachella 2020 was originally scheduled for April but was moved to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was eventually canceled altogether. As the virus spread, the Coachella festival in 2021 was also canceled. However, with tickets selling out within hours of going on sale on January 14, 2022, it appears that everyone is just eager for the most anticipated annual music festival to return.

Cost
The starting price for a general admission pass was $449, $533 for a general admission pass with shuttle access, and $929 for a VIP pass, and passes were sold separately for the two weekends.
Dates, Times & Location
Coachella Music Festival 2022 will take place over two weekends, April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022. The Coachella venue gates open each day at 11:00 a.m. On the other hand, camping opens on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. It is recommended to arrive several hours early to avoid significant delays. The festival ends around 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and midnight on Sundays.
Like the previous years, the venue will be at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, a small town in Riverside County. It's a stunning location for a Coachella Camping experience, with breathtaking valley views.
Lineup
There are 167 performers for this year's Coachella, including Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Ye, and Swedish House Mafia.
English singer, songwriter, and actor Harry Styles is also known as a member of the boy band, One Direction. His album, Fine Line (2019), was included in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2020. Watermelon Sugar and Adore You are the album's most popular tracks.
American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish rose to fame in 2015 with the release of her debut single "Ocean Eyes." Eilish has won a slew of awards, and to date, she is the only artist younger than 25 to have won the Grammy's four highest honors in the same year: Best New Artist, Record, Song, and Album.
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is an American rapper, record producer, and fashion designer. He is considered one of the world's best-selling music artists. With over 160 million records sold, Ye has won 22 Grammy Awards. In addition, six of his albums made Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and he was named one of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.
Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish electronic dance music trio comprised of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, dubbed "the faces of mainstream progressive house music." "Don't You Worry Child" is the group's biggest hit to date. The group announced their breakup on June 24, 2012, and their final performance was on March 24, 2013, at Ultra Miami. However, on March 25, 2018, the band reunited for a surprise closing set at the 20th anniversary of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida.
A Brief History of Coachella
Paul Tollett and his company, Goldenvoice, launched Coachella in Indio, California, in 1999, the first year of the desert music festival. Coachella's first lineup featured artists such as Beck, Rage Against the Machine, and Tool, all of whom were hugely influential in their respective genres.
The festival drew approximately 25,000 attendees.
The following year's festival was canceled for various reasons, and in 2001 it was moved to April to avoid the extreme heat. In fact, Coachella didn't become one of the world's most anticipated music festivals until its first year of selling out all of its tickets in 2004.
When it first started, the festival was an affordable option for concertgoers, with an entry fee of $50 and a one-day run that now spans two weekends. Although much has changed since its initial launch, one thing has remained constant. Coachella remains one of the most anticipated music festivals of the year.Stay safe, stay focused and stay traveling. Happy Travels.
