As promised I want to provide more than my travels to different restaurants trying their food and providing my feedback. I also want to provide full recipes for you to try at home. Here is a secret. My fiancé and I are coming out with a cook book April 2021 and some of these recipes will be in that cookbook. This morning I decided to make beef stew and thought......why not share this will my blog family as the FIRST full recipe offered on my blog. YOU'RE WELCOME. This is a crockpot meal so you will not have to stand and watch it cook.

Now let's get cooking!
Cook time: 7-8 hours
Ingredients:
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 tsp fresh ground sea salt
1 basil leave
1 tsp marjoram
1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
11 lbs. choice beef stew meat
1/2 red bell pepper- chopped
16 oz bag of baby carrots
3 large potatoes
4 cups of water
1 package of brown gravy mix

Directions:
Turn on crockpot and set timer for 8 hours on high
Wash beef and place in the crockpot
add the fresh ground pepper, sea salt, basil leave, marjoram, teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, parsley flakes, extra virgin olive oil, bell peppers
In a large glass add the 4 cups of water and brown gravy mix. Stir with a fork to get power chunks out. Once mixed well pour it over the meet in crockpot
Put the top on the crockpot and let it cook for 5 hours. Checking every now and then to make sure it doesn't dry out. (if you leave for work it's okay not to check)
Chop the 3 potatoes into bit size pieces and put them in a large bowl of water
After cooking for 5 hours add the potatoes and carrots to the stew. Let cook another 2-3 hours or until the potatoes and carrots are tender.
If you need to add water after adding potatoes and carrots that is normal.

You will have a tender, well-seasoned pot of beef stew that feeds 4-6 people depending on portion size. This recipe also goes well with a salad, corn bread or crackers. You can serve this at any holiday meal and folks will love it. This recipe also allows you time to do other things because it cooks itself. Happy Eating!
Let me know if you had a chance to enjoy this recipe and how your meal came out.
