Emotional Independence Begins With Your Thoughts

If you want to be emotionally independent you have to train your thoughts just like you workout to loose weight, read to learn more and practice things to get better. If you keep thinking about the same negative or unprosperous thoughts then you will never be able to mentally be free.

When you want to loose weight you get up and work out, you eat right and you focus on being the size you want to be. Vice versa in gaining weight. You eat certain foods and lift weights and train your body to be a better you. The same thing has to be done for your mental state. Your emotional state varies depending on what you think about. In order to gain the best thoughts you have to practice at it.

When you wake up in the morning if you are thinking negative you have to immediately transform those thoughts into something positive. In order to do that is to catch yourself thinking negative and change it immediately. We tend to spend a lot of time thinking negative and wondering why we are emotionally drained. Instead of thinking about something negative twist it to benefit you and think outside the box.

For example: You are having a great day then you get cut off by some rude person. Instead of thinking about that all the way to your next destination, think to yourself how lucky you are that there was no accident, or that you were able to stop in time. Focus on better. We get bent out of shape and focus on the negative that it drives our mood and emotional state to negativity which then turns into negative actions.

This is no easy task. If you've done this for so long you will have to retrain your thoughts. It could take weeks or months and possibly years. The good thing is once you actually change your mindset then your emotional independence can begin and you can feel stress free. When you are always in a bad mood, crabby, upset, frustrated, overwhelmed and stressed you create moods that change your mental state. When you change your mental state you change your emotional vibe. Working on your thoughts daily will help you learn how to control your thoughts. One good way to start training your thoughts is meditation. You can do it in the morning or at night or both. I would recommend both until you start to feel better about your thoughts. You can't fester on negativity and then change. You have to change it as soon as you realize you're thinking negative.

It is okay to be hurt and go through changes, but don't sit all day thinking about the negative outcomes. Try to focus on the positive things and you will start to see your emotional stability changing. Your thoughts power your body, like a power cord charges a radio. Do you want to have positive power or negative power? The choice is yours. You have to take the control of how you want to think. Emotional independence begins with your thoughts; how your day starts, how it ends, what choices you make, what errors you make, what you pay attention too and so much more. When you're having a great day nothing seems to bother you, when you're having a bad day, everything goes wrong. It is all a mental state.

To be gain true emotional independence you will have to tell yourself "I am not going to think about negativity, nor will I let negativity control my emotions". When you put your mind in a better state, you open doors to new thoughts and ideas your mind couldn't sustain before because it was bogged down with negative thoughts. Transform your thoughts - transform your life. So happy to share this with you loving folks. Keep loving & living.
