Hash Kitchen - Arcadia Experience

A few girlfriends and I decided to try brunch or lunch at different places at least once a month. One of them mentioned Hash Kitchen a place I'd been once before, but didn't realize it until I got there. This place is typically packed on Saturday mornings and you hear the music in the parking lot. It's sort of like a day club for brunch. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor is inviting and the music takes me back to the early 2000's when everything seemed simpler (for me anyway). So let's dig in:

Price - Very good for the amount of food. I had a mimosa flight ($16), and a chorizo fritta ($16). Total bill plus tax was $34.75. This is amazing for the amount of food and drink selection.

Presentation - The food came out looking like it belonged on the Food Networks top chef channel. It was a refreshing look at old breakfast ideas.

Mimosa Flight

Quality - The chorizo fritta was okay. I wasn't impressed with the overall flavor, but that could be because I am not a big fan of eggs. I did try my friends pineapple upside down pancakes and loved those. The mimosa flight has four flavored mimosas (strawberry, kiwi, berry & orange) My favorite was strawberry but all were of great quality and strong.

Quantity - As you can see the sizes of the meals were huge. The three of us could've split one meal. You get A LOT of food for the price. So you get your money's worth.

Overall, the place is a great place for brunch. The music, atmosphere, drinks and large portions make it an endless exciting engagement. There are other locations for this restaurant, but I went to the Arcadia location on 44th St and Indian School. Not only did we enjoy our brunch, but we were able to catch up in a place with down-to-earth food and people. The manager was very engaging and came to our table a few times to make sure we were getting the best service and that doesn't happen everywhere. If you try this place let them know you heard about it from this blog and leave a comment about your experience.
