Holiday Happiness - Be True To The Ones You Love

As Thanksgiving ends and Christmas springs into full effect many people are torn between doing what they actually want to do for the holiday and what others want them to do. Holiday happiness is based on two facts: 1) you should do things to support your family traditions and 2) you have to do things that make you happy. When you do both you create a holiday happiness that last for years. Be true to the ones you love, but most importantly, be true to yourself.

Families are blended now more than ever. With that being said family traditions are changing and being added too. Christmas being the most celebrated holiday of the year, one must decide how to keep spreading the family fun, without compromising what you feel is important.

To truly engage in holiday happiness here are a few points to remember. You can spend some time doing the holiday traditions you grew up with, like watching holiday movies, ice skating, baking cookies and putting up the tree together. After you do those things, try to do something you've always wanted to do. You can do something new or something you've done with your family before, but with a twist. If you like physical activities and no one else does, do your holiday fun activities with someone you normally don't involve, such as a distant cousin.

You can also incorporate something you've always wanted to do, but never tried. For example, hiking the mountain you always wanted, taking a hot air balloon ride, or decorating your house inside and out in a new fashion.

Being true to the ones you love simply means take time to do something with them that will kindle family love, but also allowing them to realize you are going to do something a little different so you can create your own traditions.

Holiday happiness is making sure you're going out of your way to believe in your active relationships, and making sure you believe in you. This holiday season be the positive, polite and humble person you've always been, but with a twist of time to inspire yourself. One person you love, should be yourself.

Love and relationships require work and effort. This holiday season let those that mean a lot to you know by sending holiday cards, giving them a quick call or text. We tend to rush the holiday or make it all about gifts and what people are getting instead of what people are giving. Holiday happiness, a place in your heart that allows you to generously give to others and yourself while leaving a tradition in your path for the years to come.

So happy to share this with you loving folks. Keep loving & living.
