A hotel review for Homewood Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City - Middle/Sandy for a stay January
7th - 11th 2022. This hotel wasn't a first choice for the stay, however; after being there for the four days it seemed to be an excellent choice.

This hotel is located in Middle/Sandy which is about a 10 minute drive to Salt Lake City. The hotel is located in the center of food and entertainment. It is only 30 minutes from Park City, Utah were most of the celebrity skiers travel to. It is also about 10 minutes from the largest movie theater in Utah called the Megaplex 17.
The rooms are a nice size. The one bedroom with two queen beds seemed more like full beds, but was okay for the one night we had to stay there. The two bedroom (one with two full and one with a king) had a fireplace, large entertaining room and was very clean. The rooms come with a full refrigerator, stove, microwave and cooking utensils. If you have a large party and plan to stay a while these rooms are best.

The pricing is affordable for this area. It was actually cheaper than we thought. Most rooms were between $250-300/night for this size room while these were on the lower side of $250. The one bedroom being even lower at $160. Instead of getting two completely different rooms, you can have one room with two rooms in it. This saves on cost and allows the entire family to be together.
The hotel is clean and orderly. They serve free breakfast daily (weekdays 6-9am weekends 7-10am). The person who handles the breakfast area is absolutely amazing. We saw her scrubbing the tables after everyone was gone and it made us feel even better about the sanitation of the hotel.
Guest services was welcoming and amazing. They provide masks and when advised we were on our 1-year anniversary they gave us free snacks from their store. The check in and out was quick and easy. They were polite and friendly.
They have nice amenities that guest can use such as an indoor pool and spa, gym and basketball court. They also have an open patio with grills for guest to use. This isn't the typical hotel. It seems more like an upscale apartment complex.
Overall, this hotel should be on your "to visit" list if you are traveling to Utah. If you have already been here and have details about your stay, please tell us about it. Stay safe, stay focused and stay traveling. Happy Travels.
