A place where flavor, decor and service mean exceptional. Not one of these things is lacking in this Peoria restaurant. Jalapeño Inferno is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Like many it is a family owned business, however; there are a few stand out differences that set them apart.

What makes Jalapeño Inferno different than other Mexican restaurants? The food comes from original recipes that create a flavor like no other restaurant. The service is amazing. A place that has more managers than servers and greeters. In many places you will find more servers because the focus is getting the food out quickly, but with more managers they can ensure the food is out quick as well as accurate.

We have more managers than servers to focus more on service,” Dan, the manager at Jalapeño Inferno.

Since the 1980’s, Terry and Laura Craig have been working in the restaurant business and in 1999 opened their own restaurant. Now, they have 2 Jalapeño Infernos in Scottsdale and one in Peoria.

We don’t plan on opening any new locations at the moment. Although there is always the possibility,” Dan.

According to Dan, Terry and Laura are really easy to work with and they are innovative with restaurant detail. If you look around the restaurant you will see the decor doesn’t scream out Mexican food. The large circle light fixtures, bright colors and modern decor make it feel more like an expensive hotel lobby. It has a welcoming feeling that draws you into the place.

Tianna, the greater/server, was amazing. She greeted us with a smile and seemed generally happy to be assisting us.

The food here is made from scratch. The chips are made fresh daily, along with the salsa. There take on food is it should be delicious and fun.

The owners are restaurant people,” says Dan, the manager, “They’re approachable and they listen”.

Before we could finish the interview with Dan our food was arriving at the table. Less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. The service was impeccable. Although speedy, nothing was compromised. The food was delicious, drinks refilled and bar drinks arriving quickly.

According to their website “Jalapeño Inferno is known locally for an amazing array of exciting promotions, menu features, great specials and many options for dining. Rotating themed menus include the annual Hatch Chile Harvest menu,” 99 Nights of Summer” promotion, Taco Tuesdays and Daily Chefs’ Specials. The hip and lively Cantina features the Valley’s BEST Happy Hour, an enticing Margarita of the Month program and flat screen TV’s for sports viewing. The award winning Margarita Madness menu lists unique and creative Margaritas and craft cocktails. A one of a kind, proprietary Jalapeño Inferno tequila barrel program has been blended just for us by the amazing craftsmen at Maestro Dobel distillery–try it in one of our margaritas!”

They have also been featured on Fox News due to their elegant style and local dedication to their communities. Providing jobs and surviving the Covid shut down. Jalapeño Inferno is a must dine location. The food is amazing. The decor is modern and sleek. The servers and managers are helpful, upbeat and amazing. The place just rocks. It isn’t everyday you feel at home in a place you’ve never been in. A rising star is what we are calling Jalapeño Inferno. Another fabulous meal to share with you wonderful people. Happy Eating.
