Matt's Big Breakfast - Downtown Phoenix

When we flew back in from Oakland, California last month, my husband and I decided to stop for breakfast on our way home. We ended up at Matt's Big Breakfast in downtown Phoenix. The line was long, but we were in no hurry so we waited about 30 minutes and got called for breakfast. Here are the highlights of our breakfast at Matt's.

Price- Our bill was about $45.00. In today's world this is a great amount for two drinks and two full breakfast plates.

Presentation- There wasn't a great presentation. It was just food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't like WOW... this looks good.

Quality- The food was better than it looked. I love when things taste fresh and this place was delivering fresh food.

Quantity- The portions were pretty big. I couldn't finish my breakfast sandwich and potatoes. My husband did finish most of his food, but was full.

Overall, this is a cool, chic, comfortable place to have breakfast and lunch. If you are ever downtown check this place out. It was also on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. If you go to the bottom of the website you will see the episode they are on. This isn't the first time I have been to this restaurant, but I wanted to blog about it because when you find something special in an area you live, it is nice to share it.
