Every year you should refresh your relationship with your spouse by exploring new options, having those
postponed conversations and update your goals lists. Start the year connecting with your spouse and building your relationship.

Exploring new options can seem scary, but when you think outside the box and update things you're willing to try and do then it makes the relationship exciting. You can look forward to your "talk" when you start the new year. New options can be with food you're willing to try, places you're willing to go, things you're willing to do and overall changes to plans you have already agreed upon. Things don't have to completely change, but just updating things every year to make sure you're on the same page can help you connect.
Postponed conversations from the previous year being tackled during the first month of a new year can bring clarity. It isn't good to postpone important conversations, but if you do the beginning of the year is a great time to clarify things and start fresh. Make sure to keep an open mind and remember the things that you both have been through the previous year.
Updating your goal list is fun and exciting. This brings you together because you're constantly learning something new about each other. One year you may have skydiving on your goal list and as the year changes you may want to try a dance class or horse back riding. Every year you grow so things will change. Updating each other of those changes keeps you growing together.
Starting the year connecting with your spouse allows you to be focused throughout the year on what you both feel is important. It allows you to build a better relationship and build your legacy together. I hope these tips help you start your year refresh and ready to take on the world together. So happy to share this with you loving folks. Keep loving & living.
