Lure Fish House

One of the things I do when I see a restaurant I've never been to and would like to try is take a picture of it. That's what happened a month ago and yesterday my husband and I decided to try it. If you haven't heard of Lure Fish House you are missing a gem. Their dinning room is elegant and relaxing. The decor is simply amazing and the atmosphere is engaging. We were surprised to walk into this place and immediately feel like we were on the coast of some enchanted beach eating the fresh food. Now let's talk about the seafood:

Price- Below is our actual receipt. They allow you to pay online to avoid the wait. As you can see the bill was reasonable. Our ceviche was $15, non-alcoholic drinks $4.25, fish n shrimp combo $18, and his seafood louie salad $18. Total bill $64.29. Plus a $15 tip. For the atmosphere, food and location this was an excellent price.

Presentation- The food came out looking like a 6 star restaurant. It looked appealing. There were garnish, high-low placement, and perfect arrangement. If you're a food photographer this food is ready for the photo shoot.

Quality- Everything we tasted had a lot of flavor and seasoning, except the fried Cod that came with my fish and shrimp platter. They had no taste. The texture was great, crisp outside and soft inside. There was just NO flavor. No seasoning, and when I added hot sauce it still did nothing for the fish. Everything else, was amazing. The fried shrimp were cleaned and perfectly fried. The ceviche was a blend of fresh flavors melting in your mouth. The lure elixir was amazing refreshing. A simple club soda with fresh fruit. A great way to enjoy this type of food.

Quantity- The food came in large portions. My husbands salad was large and full of crab meat. He couldn't eat it all. The shrimp and cod came with two sides of your choice. I had the fries and lime cilantro rice, which was very good. You get plenty here.

Overall, this was an amazing experience and I will go back to try something different. I believe they have one location in Arizona, that is located in Scottsdale. If you have a night to unwind, hang with some pals, or just go on a date with your hubby check this place out and let us know how your experience is.
