Three Days In Miami Beach Florida

At the night hour I was able to book a flight and hotel for my brothers 20th anniversary to Miami Beach, Florida. With one day to spare I packed up my suitcase and decided to vacation without work in mind. My three days in Miami Beach were amazingly relaxing, inspirational and motivating. Here is how I spent three days in Miami.

We checked into Berkeley Shore Hotel on December 8th, then headed to our room to unpack. After 30 minutes we went downstairs to the outdoor dining patio to meet with family and friends. My fiance and I chatted with them for a while and as they headed back to their rooms to rest we walked across the street to Liquor Lounge Cafe and played pool, enjoyed music and a few drinks. The moment put me in one of those drunken chick flic movies. It was epic. Just dancing to the music and being in an unfamiliar territory had me excited.

The next day we walked to a local coffee shop, had breakfast then headed to Bal-Harbor Shops. This shopping plaza isn't for the cheap. With shops such as Fendi, Versace, Saks 5th Ave and many more the atmosphere rings elegance. After purchasing a pair of Fendi boots we walked around for a bit and realized it was time to head back to the hotel to get dressed for the beach vow renewal. Although the weather was a bit colder than normal for this time of year in Miami, the beach renewal was perfect. It was a small group of us including, my brother and his wife, two of their daughters, brides mother and husband, a few cousins, nephews and friends. As they spoke their everlasting love to each other the water in the background became the perfect backdrop. The sand under our feet felt like warm pillows. It was an amazing time to be at that place at that moment.

After the renewal we went to the pool area on the 4th floor of the hotel and had shots and congratulated the lucky couple. Then we ate at CJ's Crab Shack. The food was good. I split the steak, crab and shrimp meal with my fiance. The drink they made me with all their tropical flavors was amazing. A great place to dine if you're in the area looking for local seafood. Before calling it a night we rode to a nearby city and saw a sight seeing highlights.

The next morning we got up had breakfast on the hotel restaurant watching people and cars go by like we were in a fairytale movie. Then everyone went to Sawgrass Mills Outlets. Here we found great deals on clothes and shoes from all types of designers. The weather was amazing, the experience was comforting and the vibe was liberating. We went back to the hotel and got on bikes and rode to the Versace Mansion. A place Versace himself lived prior to being murdered in front of it. Standing in front of it made me realize how short life can be and exploring sites and living is expected. Traveling the world and gaining things no one can ever take from you (experience) is the best gift to give yourself. Later that night we went to 800 Degrees. A restaurant owned by Dewayne Wade and Udonis Haslem. We ordered the artichoke and whole chicken plate. It was amazing. The food is fire grilled and melts in your mouth. The seasoning and flavor was perfect.

Later that night a few of us sat on the steps of the hotel talking and enjoying the night sky and the fresh air. It was an awesome couple of days. Although our journey was ending they still had a few more days to celebrate. We got up the next morning said our goodbyes as they headed to the boat to continue and celebrate and we headed to the airport.

The three days in Miami Beach, Florida were better than expected and remarkably memorable. The food, shopping, sight seeing, beach experience and overall atmosphere is a grand gesture at living. If you've been to Miami Beach before or want to go please tell us about your experience or why you want to do. This is actually my second time in Miami Beach and the first time was great as well, so it just may be the place for you to explore.
