Romantic movies have been things that women cling to in hopes that one day they will find their mr. perfect. We watch these movies laughing, crying and reminding ourselves that true love is out there. If we haven’t already found the “right” person our search gets perfected with every romantic comedy, documentary and/or romance movie. Today, men even watch romantic movies, as they tend to show the single guy searching for the soul mate he’s never found. Here are 10 Love & Relationship movies that will intrigue even the ruthless, never going to find love movie watcher.

1. Love & Basketball - Released April 16, 2000, a story about two kids that grow up living next door and play basketball. The sport takes them in the same directions, but their love for the sport pulls them apart. Eventually, they have to choose. Monica is played by Sanaa Lathan and Quincy by Omar Epps.
2. Pretty Woman -Released March 23, 1990, in this modern update on Cinderella, a prostitute and a wealthy businessman fall hard for one another, forming an unlikely pair. While on a business trip in L.A., Edward (Richard Gere), who makes a living buying and breaking up companies, picks up a hooker, Vivian (Julia Roberts), on a lark. After Edward hires Vivian to stay with him for the weekend, the two get closer, only to discover there are significant hurdles to overcome as they try to bridge the gap between their very different worlds.
3. Dirty Dancing - Released August 21, 1987, Baby played by (Jennifer Grey) is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. She is dragged to a boring resort for the summer by her parents and she try to find thrill to get her through the summer. Her luck turns around, however, when the resort's dance instructor, Johnny played by (Patrick Swayze), enlists Baby as his new partner, and the two fall in love. Baby's father forbids her from seeing Johnny, but she's determined to help him perform the last big dance of the summer.
4. No Me Before You - Release May 23, 2016, is about a young girl trying to help support her family by getting a job working with a tetraplegic. Louisa “Lou” Clark played by Emila Clark and Will Trainer played by Sam Claflin, start off bumping heads until Lou finds ways to get Will to explore fun things with her. As they are doing those things she finds out he has a contract with a facility to assist in his suicide. He can’t imagine living the rest of his life that way. Eventually, through it all Will teaches Lou how to live her life to the fullest.

5. Poetic Justice - Released July 23, 1993, Still grieving after the murder of her boyfriend, hairdresser Justice played by (Janet Jackson) writes poetry to deal with the pain of her loss. Unable to get to Oakland to attend a convention because of her broken-down car, Justice gets a lift with her friend, Iesha (Regina King) and Iesha's postal worker boyfriend, Chicago (Joe Torry). Along for the ride is Chicago's co-worker, Lucky (Tupac Shakur), to whom Justice grows close after some initial problems. She isn’t sure she is ready to take such a big step and Lucky isn’t sure he can be the man she is looking for.
6. The Bodyguard - Released November 25, 1992, Best-selling pop diva Rachel Marron played by (Whitney Houston) has a stalker whose obsession has risen to the level of disturbing threats. At the persistence of her manager (Gary Kemp), Rachel hires former secret service agent Frank Farmer played by (Kevin Costner) as her bodyguard. Initially resented for his hard-nosed security procedures, Farmer soon becomes an integral part of Rachel's inner circle. As they spend more time together, they realize the relationship is moving farther from just protector.
7. Boomerang - Released June 28, 1992, a cocky ad executive, Marcus played by (Eddie Murphy) has a reputation as a ladies' man. However, Marcus gets a taste of his own medicine when a merger finds him working under the beautiful Jacqueline played by (Robin Givens), who has a similarly cavalier attitude about romance. Marcus and Jacqueline become involved, but it doesn’t last long. Meanwhile, Marcus also begins to develop feelings for the pretty Angela played by (Halle Berry), who is more thoughtful and caring.

8. Hitch - Released February 11, 2005, dating coach Alex "Hitch" Hitchens played by (Will Smith) mentors a dramatic client, Albert played by (Kevin James), who hopes to win the heart of the famous Allegra Cole played by (Amber Valletta). While Albert makes progress, Hitchens faces his own romantic trials when proven techniques fail to work on Sara Melas played by (Eva Mendes), a tabloid reporter digging for dirt on Allegra Cole's love life. When Sara discovers Hitchens' connection to Albert, now Allegra's boyfriend, it threatens to destroy both relationships.
9. All My Life - Released October 23, 2020, Jennifer Carter and Solomon Chau are a sweet, fun-loving, newly engaged couple who are ready to start their lives together, however; when Solomon is diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, their hopes for a summer wedding become impossible. Based on a true story, the couples friends and families soon devise a genus plan to help them have their dream wedding.
10. The Notebook - Released June 25, 2004, A 1940s South Carolina, mill worker Noah Calhoun played by (Ryan Gosling) and rich girl Allie played by (Rachel McAdams) are desperately in love. But her parents don't approve. When Noah goes off to serve in World War II, it seems to mark the end of their love affair. During this time, Allie becomes involved with another man played by (James Marsden). But when Noah starts to rebuild an old house he promised Allie and it is shown in the paper, Allie has no choice, but to go see him and rekindle their never lost love.
