With Labor Day being in September a hot and steamy month, most people do water activities. However, there are other activities you can do if you don’t have access to water. Here are 7 Labor Day activities that don’t involve water.

#1) Paint & Sip - many people are drinking anyway so turn it into a paint and sip day. You can go to Ross, Michaels, Target, Walmart or any other store to purchasing paint boards, paint brushes, and small disposable cups. Set up a paint and sip night and watch the fireworks while looking in the sky at the lights.
#2) Favorite Drink Night - Have a group of friends come over with the materials to make their favorite drink. Have each person show how to make their favorite drink and let each person in attendance try it.
#3) Backyard Campout - Set up a tent in your backyard and have a camp site ready to watch the fireworks. You can grill and have smores while watching the lights in the sky.
#4) Bowling Night - Before going to watch the fireworks, have a bowling night. Pick teams of 4 and enjoy a fun night of bowling and drinks.

#5) Karaoke Night - You can do this at home or at a venue. Set up the machine and take turns signing your favorite songs. Make it interesting by having teams or a prize for the winner.
#6) Backyard cookout - Having friends over to cook and enjoy each other during the day is one of the best ways to enjoy the holiday. You get to catch up with everyone and have great food.

No matter what you decide to do for Labor Day, make sure you have fun and celebrate the best way you know how. It’s not about what you do, but who you do it with. Celebrate your holiday with love, intention and a healthy mind-set. Stay safe, stay focused and stay traveling. Happy Travels.
