Many people have their favorite Thanksgiving dishes they put their heart and soul into. Every family has the favorite dish that is always gone before everything else. If you aren’t sure what you want to serve this thanksgiving, or just want to add something new to your holiday meal, here are Thanksgiving dinner ideas from our family to yours:

Deep Fried Turkey - instead of your typical grilled or baked turkey, try something a bit more spontaneous and pull out the deep fryer.
Greens - Some like turnip, collard or mustard, but which ever one you like, dish these out with your holiday meal for all to enjoy.
Mashed Potatoes with melted garlic butter - whip up your potatoes and while they are still hot put a big scoop of garlic butter on top and don’t stir. Just let it sit on top melting into the rest of the potatoes.
Honey glazed ham - When making your ham be sure to add brown sugar, syrup, pineapple juice as well as the pineapples, and honey to make it sweet.
Sautéed broccoli & cauliflower - These lightly buttered and salted vegetables will be the hit of any Thanksgiving dinner.
Brown gravy stuffing - Make your favorite stuffing but instead of the vegetable broth or chicken broth try brown gravy.
Mac N Cheese - Best with shell noodles, pile on the cheese and don’t be afraid to explore a different cheese option.
Whole green beans - Add these to a skillet with a drop of extra virgin olive oil and some bacon bits and your mouth with water.
Southern Sweet Potato Casserole - Instead of the plain casserole with marshmallows, also add Carmel, nuts and brown sugar on top.
Honey corn bread - in your original corn bread recipe add a tsp of honey and watch how this corn bread melts in your mouth.
Upscale garden salad - with your choice of lettuce add, small chopped cucumbers, black olives, strawberry slices, feta cheese crumbles and top with a champagne vinegerette dressing.
Buttery corn on the cob - while boiling or baking your corn on the cob add extra butter and a little salt to season it perfectly for dinner.
Soft butter biscuits - When baking your biscuits be sure to add a little butter and brown sugar or plain with butter added after they come out of the oven
Chicken Alfredo - use linguine noodles, Alfredo sauce and bit size chicken pieces already cooked or grilled.
Fried Cauliflower - A tasty snack to have for Thanksgiving dinner. Crunchy, flavorful and create a special taste with any dipping sauce.
Pot roast with carrots, potatoes and celery - If you want something to have for later in the evening or serve during dinner that is little to no hassle, serve a pot roast. You can put it in the crockpot then add carrots, celery and potatoes about two hours before serving. Be sure to make it a holiday favorite with nice spices and seasonings.
Strawberry cheesecake - a delicious treat to snack on right after Thanksgiving dinner. Its sweet, tangy and melts in your mouth.
Another fabulous meal idea to share with you wonderful people. Happy Eating.
